The gorgeous sherries of Equipo Navazos always entice, and #42 is no exception. This refreshing, salty, tasty Manzanilla was a joy to drink from cork to punt-- definitely one of the most enjoyable manzanillas in recent memory.

Equipo Navazos got their start by finding some hidden barrels and bottling them for private consumption. Soon after, they went public and now sell their special bottlings around the world. Their approach is similar to the concept of a negociant, but rather than buy & sell grapes or must, they are buying portions of soleras-- that for whatever reason-- haven't made it to market yet.

This is a blend of 19 barrels from Bodegas M. Sánchez Ayala, this manzanilla is the 6th edition from this particular solera (which also can be tasted in numbers 4,8,16,22,& 32).

Don't be afraid of the tartrates...
